God of War

God of War was released in 2005 and is the first game in the popular God of War series. The game’s protagonist is a Spartan warrior named Kratos, a subject of the Olympian Gods. God of War is based in Ancient Greece and loosely revolves around Greek Mythology. Athena set Kratos the task to kill Ares, the God of War and as the God of War ravages the city of Athens, Kratos embarks on a quest to find a way to stop him. – the legendary Pandora’s Box.

The game is considered to be one of the best action-adventure games featured on the Playstation 2 and has since won many awards.  Due to the game’s popularity it has since been remastered on Playstation 3 and is available featuring both God of War I and God of War II.
